Open Water Online Option
(minimum age - 13)
If you would like to become a certified diver, but want to
study in the convenience of your own home and at your own pace,
you can sign up with PADI elearning. With this option, you complete
all academic work through PADI online. (The online portion is
paid to PADI.) After that, you can complete your confined water
and open water sessions here at Carib Inn. The first day starts
with a swim test followed by confined water sessions in the morning
and the afternoon. This is approximately a 6 hour day. On the
following two days, the open water dives are completed from our
boats, one each morning and one each afternoon.
Our classes are small averaging 2 or 3 students per class.
Everything is included except the Bonaire Marine Park tag, which
is $25. Tags are required for all diving on Bonaire.
