Cell Phones
I have seen cell phones used just about everywhere. People
carrying on a conversation at a dinner table but not with anyone
at that table. As soon as a plane lands the cell phones come out.
People talking loudly at meetings. I even saw someone who should
have been placed in a padded room talking to the air while walking
through an airport carrying on some inane conversation with no
one about food and car problems, until he turned around and I
saw a small remote phone piece in his ear. I suppose the list
is endless.
But today I think I saw what must be one of the strangest
cell phone uses. A man was standing at a urinal using one hand
to do what is necessary at the urinal and the other hand holding
a cell phone. Never again when any male friends who call me will
I ask, "What's up?" or "Hey whatcha doin'?'"
